The Cutest Pastel Halloween Party Ideas for Girls Pastel Halloween Party Ideas for Girls | Cute Spooky Party

Pastel Halloween party ideas, but make them ridiculously cute.

If traditional orange-and-black Halloween isn’t quite your thing, this sweet little spooky-cute Halloween party for girls might be your new favorite.

Think smiling ghosts, candy-colored pumpkins, pink gingham, lavender witch hats, mint green accents, bows, sparkles and just enough black bats to remind everyone that yes… technically this is Halloween. 😂

We designed this party especially with younger girls in mind, and I love that it feels festive without being scary. It would be adorable for a Halloween birthday party, girls’ Halloween party, classroom celebration, neighborhood party or just a fun October afternoon with friends.

The Pastel Halloween Color Palette

The whole party centers around a dreamy mix of:

bubblegum pink • lavender • pale mint • peach • cream • white

Then we sprinkled in tiny amounts of black with bats, witch hats and ghost faces.

The trick is keeping the darker Halloween details really minimal. Instead of trying to make everything spooky, we leaned into sweet, crafty and whimsical.

Pastel Halloween Party Ideas for Girls | Cute Spooky Party is made up of pastel balloons, handmade-looking signs, ribbons, gingham, fuzzy ghosts and slightly imperfect DIY details make the whole room feel like something you could actually recreate at home.

A “Let’s Go Ghouls” Party Backdrop

Pastel Halloween party ideas for girls with a pink, lavender and mint tablescape, smiling ghost cookies, pastel pumpkins, balloon garland and “Let’s Go Ghouls” backdrop.

The main party area was intentionally simple: a pastel streamer backdrop, a soft balloon garland and a “Let’s Go Ghouls” sign.

And I’m kind of obsessed with how cute it turned out.

Rather than building a massive professional-looking installation, use inexpensive crepe streamers in pink, lavender and mint and layer a few balloons around one side.

Add some little black bats, stars or ghost cutouts and suddenly the whole thing feels styled without feeling overdone.

A nearby dessert table with pastel cake stands, cupcakes, ghost treats and happy little pumpkins finishes the look.

The Sweetest Halloween Party Table

For the kids’ table, I’d keep things playful and easy.

Pastel plates, pink napkins, striped straws, ghost cups and a cute Halloween table covering do most of the work.

Then scatter a few pastel pumpkins down the center with tiny jars of inexpensive flowers or baby’s breath.

One of my favorite ideas is placing a ghost sugar cookie at each seat.

It instantly becomes part of the tablescape and dessert.

Basically: less centerpiece arranging, more cookies. I support this philosophy. 😂

Little Boo Potion Lab 🧪✨

Pastel Halloween Little Boo Potion Lab for girls with pink, lavender and mint potion drinks, recipe cards, smiling ghost decor, pastel pumpkins, candy jars and a whimsical balloon backdrop.

This might be one of my favorite parts of the entire party.

The Little Boo Potion Lab lets the girls mix their own colorful Halloween drinks using kid-friendly ingredients.

Set out clear cups or little potion bottles along with colorful drink mixes, flavored syrups, sprinkles, gummy candy and striped straws.

Give the “potions” silly names and add little recipe cards so the girls can choose which one they want to make.

It feels like an activity, a drink station and party decor all in one.

Ghostie Glam Bar 👻🎀

Pastel Halloween Ghostie Glam Bar for girls with face gems, temporary tattoos, colorful hair clips, sparkly accessories, ghost decor and pink and lavender organizers.

Okay… this one is just TOO CUTE.

The Ghostie Glam Bar is basically a tiny spooky beauty boutique filled with things like:

temporary tattoos, face gems, glitter freckles, colorful hair tinsel, pastel clips and Halloween barrettes.

A small tabletop mirror and a few acrylic organizers make it feel extra special without requiring a complicated setup.

And obviously we had to sprinkle in signs like:

Boo-tiful

Boo-jee

Too Cute to Spook

You Glow, Ghoul

Because little details like that are half the fun.

Boo-tique Pumpkin Painting 🎨🎃

Pastel Halloween pumpkin painting station for girls with white faux pumpkins, pink and lavender paint pens, bows, gems, stickers and cute decorated pumpkin examples.

Instead of carving pumpkins, give each girl a small white faux pumpkin and let her create her own little Halloween masterpiece.

Set out:

pastel paint pens, gems, bows, googly eyes, stickers and tiny witch hats.

The girls can make ghost pumpkins, kitty pumpkins, bow pumpkins, witch pumpkins — whatever they want.

Display the undecorated pumpkins in small baskets with a “Pick Your Pumpkin” sign and it doubles as adorable party decor before the activity even starts.

And because they’re faux pumpkins, the girls get to take them home and keep them.

Best Ghouls Forever Friendship Bracelet Bar 💗

Pastel Halloween friendship bracelet station for girls with colorful beads, alphabet beads, ghost and pumpkin accents, finished bracelets, cute signs and a whimsical “Best Ghouls Forever” craft setup.

For girls around ages 6–8 especially, I would absolutely include a bracelet station.

Fill divided organizers with:

pastel beads, alphabet beads, glow beads, stars, hearts, tiny ghosts and pumpkins.

Then give them cute phrase ideas like:

BOO CREW

SPOOKY

HEY BOO

MAGIC

BEST GHOULS

Or let them add their own names.

A “Best Ghouls Forever” sign makes the station extra cute, and finished bracelets can be displayed on a simple wooden bracelet stand.

This is another activity that doubles as a party favor — which I always love.

Pick Your Magic Wand Workshop 🪄

Pastel Halloween magic wand craft station for girls with wooden star wands, ribbons, tulle, pom-poms, bells, pastel gems and a whimsical “Pick Your Magic” backdrop.

If there was ever a Halloween craft made for little girls, this might be it.

Instead of making the party feel overly witchy or spooky, we went for more of a fairy-witch Halloween vibe.

Start with inexpensive wooden star wands and let the girls decorate them with:

ribbon, tulle, bells, pom-poms, pastel gems, glittery stars and little charms.

Put the blank wands in cute buckets and display finished examples nearby.

Our little station was called:

PICK YOUR MAGIC

Witchy Wand Workshop

It feels magical, creative and still very Halloween without being scary at all.

The Little Ghost Photo Corner 📸👻

Pastel Halloween photo booth corner for girls with a pink and lavender streamer backdrop, pastel balloons, oversized plush ghost, witch hats, star wands and cute “Say Boo!” photo props.

You really don’t need an elaborate photo booth.

A tiny corner can be ridiculously cute.

We used pastel streamers, a few balloons, an oversized plush ghost and a basket filled with photo props like:

  • witch hats

  • ghost glasses

  • star wands.

Add a “Say BOO!” sign and you’re done.

The girls can take pictures with their finished pumpkins, bracelets and wands too, which makes all of the activities feel connected.

Easy Pastel Halloween Party Food

Pastel Halloween party food collage for girls featuring ghost cookies, pastel cupcakes, mummy hot dogs, fruit cups, snack mix, candy and cute pink, lavender and mint Halloween serving details.

You definitely do not need a giant themed menu for this party.

Keep it simple and let the presentation make ordinary foods feel special.

A few ideas:

  • Ghost sugar cookies

  • Pastel frosted cupcakes

  • Ghost cake pops

  • Popcorn or “monster munch”

  • Fruit cups with ghost toppers

  • Mini mummy hot dogs

  • Marshmallows or pastel candy

  • Pink lemonade

  • Juice or potion drinks

Put treats on mint, pink and lavender cake stands and suddenly grocery-store cupcakes look like they belong at the cutest little Halloween party ever.

Pastel Halloween Party Favors

Pastel Halloween party favor collection for girls with a painted pumpkin, friendship bracelet, magic wand and Ghostie Glam accessories arranged in a cute pastel treat bag.

If the girls are already making crafts, those are the favors.

This is one of the easiest places to save money.

Each child can leave with her:

painted pumpkin

friendship bracelet

magic wand

Ghostie Glam accessories

Put everything inside a small pastel tote or Halloween treat bag and you have a pretty amazing favor without buying another pile of random toys.

How to Recreate This Party Without Going Overboard

The biggest thing I’d remember with this theme is you do not need every idea.

Pick one pretty backdrop.

Set one cute table.

Then choose two or three activities your girls will love most.

For example, I think this combination would be incredible:

Potion Lab + Ghostie Glam + Bracelet Bar

or

Pumpkin Painting + Wand Workshop + Photo Corner

It will still look completely magical — and your house won’t look like a Halloween craft store exploded in it. 😂
